Minneapolis Flash Design
Flash design used to be a specialty - something that a few people were good at and did all of the time (remember Future Splash? The pre-cursor to Flash). There was an abundance of 'Flash' only websites and you could either see those sites, or you couldn't. Even if you could see those sites, often they were too full of long, drawn out intros with thumpy music with nothing much to offer when it came to the complete 'experience'.
Lately, Artropolis has been adding Flash elements to its websites and I think that when used sparkingly, Flash can be a great way to add impact and visual sophistication without detracting from the content and intended message of the website.
